Falling Leaves

Foliage is freely falling As I walk the forest trails Leaves twirling, swirling Land on my coat and in my hair I cannot resist kicking through Newly fallen autumn leaves Gathered on the ground Lovely crisp crunchy leaves Exquisite colors of rich red Auburn, ochre, golden brown Vivid tangerine and copper Eager squirrels scamper Searching for winter food Autumn Acrostic Poetry Contest Poetry Contest Sponsored by Caren Krutsinger 09/27/21

Thankfully you are not a child Jan Able to appreciate what glory nature has on offer If you can live without not being constantly glued to a phone screen or permanently have head phones or ear phones in your ears 24/7

I love kicking through the leaves lol, I dont possess a smart phone - it just rings and texts. I go walking with my hubby I have no need for a phone as he has one if we need it. :-) hugs jan xx
