Falling Into You

Each night, I lie silent and so very still
hoping to fall asleep and awaken in dream,
to be at the very place where we last met,
to be holding you again as we welcome
the new evening moon

Light from the glowing orb cascades down
upon our bodies, reflecting the natural glow
of love, of wonder, of harmonious bliss
as I take your chin in my hand
and place upon you a kiss

How I love it, when
we meet like this
