Falling in Love with Me
Ghosting me for six weeks is powerful as it shows that you do not care
You wanted to give me space as you knew of my life
My mind can only handle so much as the heart is starting to feel bare
If you could not be there for me in my time of need, how could you expect me to make you my wife?
Years ago, I started to build a bridge and wanted you to be a part of it
When I tried to move forward into a relationship, you stated that you would not based on your mother’s belief of class Manship difference
Oh, how you led me on, and it ended up the both of us not being a perfect fit
In truth, I believe that your jealousy led me on and that your mother was not an interference
For that night and the time spent on it, I wanted to feel the joy in my breast.
The possibility of a relationship was gone when you spoke
When you said no, my heart and mind kept going without rest
Because of the words of your mother folk
For you, my heart is closed.
As I am indisposed!
