Falling In Love With a Damsel Fly
A damsel fly on lilac leaf – shyly, coyly, lovingly giggles her way into a young elf’s heart.
He is a simple elf, life for him has been humdrum until the second he looked into her lavender love eyes.
His heart beats fast as she stares at him.
Life for him has been dull until this second.
Parts of the elf he did not know he had respond unbidden, suddenly violently alive
As he watches the sensuous fluttering of her eyelashes.
She giggles.
Nearly his undoing.
He races inside his mushroom home, and begins transforming himself.
He brushes his teeth, washes his face,
Puts his best clothes and shiniest shoes on.
Alas, when he arrives after this frantic pace
The beautiful teasing damsel fly is utterly and completely gone.
