Falling In Love

Over a couple of years, I fell in love with you
    Then I fell into the safety of your open arms
         And as I pulled you close, I fell upon your bed

                  All these things I did as I fell head over heels for you

          Now every time you leave, as the days turn to weeks, turn to months
     I don’t fall apart but fall in step by your side
And say good night to your pillow as I fall peacefully asleep 

                  All these things I do because I fell head over heels for you

Then the time falls away and you are back by my side
    Where we fall in love again….
         As we fall into each other’s waiting arms
             And fall gently upon our bed…
