Falling In Love

Over a couple of years, I fell in love with you Then I fell into the safety of your open arms And as I pulled you close, I fell upon your bed All these things I did as I fell head over heels for you Now every time you leave, as the days turn to weeks, turn to months I don’t fall apart but fall in step by your side And say good night to your pillow as I fall peacefully asleep All these things I do because I fell head over heels for you Then the time falls away and you are back by my side Where we fall in love again….
