Falling From Words

Although I don’t always have words
True words, colored in rich and vibrant
Adjectives – adverbs so strong
They seem heavy like darkness
I do have hope
Hope for the verse and
Hope for the vison
Hope for the feelings
And the wisdoms
I have faith in the many stardust moments
Sprinkled with glittery passion
Peppered with intimacy and inspiration
Prose that hunger for the empty page
The gifted pen and graceful hand
Of some writer whose words spell
Insight and enlightenment
I have love that grows more alive every day
Whispering notes of songs
Lingering on my mind
Replaying words and verses
Lyrics both warm and wise
Wistful like a soft tune
Laughing lights break
Through the skies in amber
And tangerine dreams
Friendly like a wink
And kind as wishes for peace
Words penetrate the days
With psalms and praise
Prayers drift through the
Heavens, grateful and gracious
Like a dewdrop or rainy thought
Leaving affectionate blessings
Across the senses, tingling
I crave the art of words who
Play with one another
Like children seeking a playmate
And I continue to play
With the nouns and verbs
The story is told in breaths
Of silence that comes when the tale
Is most masterfully written
Across the senses, like scriptures
Visiting the naked impression
A sigh on the intellect
Revealing a mind who knows
The art of words in poetry and prose
Never stop playing with words
They reveal the touch of hope
In every new dawn
A light that sings a song
On the edge of the sun
Lemony yellow solos
Reaching across the yearnings
Of a life who keeps trying
Sing love through the lines
Who fall from the words
What Makes You Sigh
