Falling a Drift
falling a drift like
the person of long ago
the person that time turned into thee
falling a drift like
the detatchment of old fur
of a shaggy dog untame
slowly turning
into the lion with such wild mane
falling a drift like
dust particals
floating in the presence of the raging sun
the move is good, you see
for fading into the background
opens up new possibiiltes
shut the curtian of what was
and stand heart of currage to
shine as new
for the old had a purpose
as did
the wind that silently blew
without the sheddng of past
there can be no gains for your
tired old aches to grasp
so take pride in all that was created
for time is inevitable and precipitated
