Falling

I look around and see nothing.
I begin to walk down the street.
Suddenly, I start to fall.
Hoping to land safely.
Watching the sky disappear.
I close my eyes.
Feeling the wind all around me.
Turning over and over.
Waiting to land.
Thinking about you.
Hoping to live through this.
Starting to cry, I want it to end.
Falling for hours.
I am not sure.
Maybe days.
Finally I stop falling.
Landing in your arms.
I look in you smiling.
You lean in and kiss me.
