Falling

Where do my dreams take me?
I constantly fall from a summit
Freefalling for seconds, minutes or hours
I can no longer tell
A frigid wind blows my hair
Coming up from God knows where
I feel the sting of the cold burn my face
I try to scream but without a sound
There is no one to hear
I tumble alone
I pray to find the bottom
To find a way to end my descent
But the end is never there
I just fall into nothingness
Black, dark and musty
It surrounds me
An eternity of falling
My own personal Hell
I become one with my fate
And I become nothing
