Fallen Fruit

Did you hear about the fallen fruit?
It learned to live low, all on its own
Surrounded by other fallen flesh
Surrounded by its mothers roots

One day though someone picked it up
Not knowing how helpful that was
When others trod past,
Someone noticed its sweetness

They saved that fallen fruit
From the dirt it lived a long time
Without even knowing its past
Somebody noticed it was sweet at last.
