Years have gone by Slipping sand through the hourglass The light We secretly hold for each other Glimpse of him There is all I have Too shy to face Too afraid to speak All I know In my heart When I see him Safe is the word His eyes on me With sincere interest Waiting The thing is that We are a world apart By age Being in different stages Of our lives Train of thoughts Running through my mind Holding a flower Taking each petal Whether it is worth To take a step forward Towards him...
