Fallen

FALLEN

Pepped up for her wedding
Geared and went beyond my resources
Travelled miles on receipt of invite
She clung only to special few
Unapolegetically ignored and broken, I regretted going

An uncomfortable situation expressed in a dignified manner. Time 'camouflages' the hurt of something that, after all, might have been unintentional. ~ Congrats on your top win, Balveen. // paul

Oh Cay Cay this happened long ago. The competition revived the incident and how I had felt then. She was young then and in youth one is foolish. Till date I've never divulged my feelings. Thanks for your concern! Love, Balveen

Congratulations on your emotional poem scoring so high. Seems this issue may be remedied by time, communications and sisterly love, I pray so ... CayCay

Heartbreaking... to have a sibling ignore you after you had prepared so much. Well presented. I'm just sorry about the outcome. Best wishes Keith

It happened long back, Keith! The wounds have healed, but the memory came back with the contest! Thanks for the read! Regards, Balveen
