Fallen

As leaves fall from a tree
I fell for you
As hurricane winds blow around us
I feel grounded and stable
when you are here.
Gentle as a breeze and true as the sky
you are not a mocking jay but instead a lion,
proud and noble.
Here I lay fallen
rather feeling sadness and dread
only happiness can be expressed.
For you
are the Reason
that I have Fallen.
