Fallacy

Large expectations become wide eyed revelations
I don't always think with the best of intentions

Path is straight but my conscious has strayed
My heart and my soul, I have betrayed

Truth is mightiest word of them all
And I have defiled the truth of us all
My fallacy, my fallacy
Consumes me whole

Truth is the mightiest word of them all
And I have defiled the truth of us all
My fallacy, my fallacy

Truth is the mightiest word of them all
On my hands and knees I crawl
fallacy, my fallacy
Consumes me whole

Hidden in a veil of manic distress
Watching a twisted trail of lies progress

Make my decisions, I can't decide
Let me see truth through unjaded eyes
My fallacy, my fallacy
