Fall In the North

Red noses and cold hands
Piles of leaves spanning entire lands
Coats and gloves replacing fans
This is what fall is
The crunch of leaves
The return of long sleeves
Excitement on All Hallows' Eve
This is what fall is
Early night
The cold gives a bite
The ground might be covered in white
This is what fall is
The start of school
The air turns cool
Decorations that look like ghouls
This is what fall is

Maren, welcome to Poetry Soup. I am glad that you are here! What a terrific fall poem. Easy to see, and feel.
