Fall Flowering Forest

Are you sure you wish to shed your colors
Ultimately leaving yourself shivering in the crisp cold air, a bare
Tree waiting
Under a snowfilled sky
Maybe you should continue to hide your light
Never revealing God's gifts to the world

Righteous blooming
Of beauty
So proud of the Glory the Lord bestowed
Eternally

Without
One word of hard reprimand
Or warning, solid to out last the test of life and the
Demands of love

Very beautiful, rings of depth and truth....sounds a bit like a viewpoint I had as well...of the trees. Love, Sara:)

Simply stunning and vibrant verse. Full of the colour of autumn yet reminding us of the blooms of spring and summer past and the snow of winter to come. Nigel

This is very inspirational. I like the "Righteous blooming of beauty line." The ending stanza really puts a good finishing touch on the poem. Great job! ~Joseph

Interesting perspective in this poem. Yes, god has given us a lot of gifts--sometimes we're just too blind to recognize them. Thank you for sharing this inspirational piece with us and for your kind comments. Blessings to you. Keep on writing. Karen
