Fall

The autumn air is crisp and clean

Bringing colourful acrobatics, yearly seen.

The dancing leaves entertain us all,

Changing their colours and like dancers fall

Gracefully, fluttering from the sky.

Forming carpets of colour where they now lie.

The most beautiful season of the year,

It's beautiful now that fall is here.

Line two is a winner and strking. It is like a postcard of New England. Thank you for your comments. They mean a lot to me! Regards, Gerard.

Indeed, it is the most beautiful season, Francine, and I love the images of the dancing leaves that form "carpet of colour" when they reach the ground. A joyful write! Love, Carolyn
