Fall

Fading echoes of summer’s play across the pastures, streams and field Long shadows dance the end of day where harvests dry and beg for yield October pushes cool its breath dark skies forcing sun’s surrender giving fruit and trees promised death with displays of autumn’s splendor

Late September through November is my favorite time of the year. I will gladly let other people enjoy my share of all this heat.
