Fake Jewelry Fake Tree Fake You Fake Me

Fake jewelry fake tree, fake fur, a fun-filled faker’s life
Artificial flowery fakery, fake man, fake wife.
Fake you, fake me, fake compliments, fake boobs they surely be,
Unknown feelings, hidden. Fake you, can you see fake you and fake me?

You are a clever poetess who always brings out the deep essence of her words. Fake unfortunately is all around us and that saddens me - great write Caren. Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Real cool poetry, Caren!! Love the sharp satirical wit ... cutting to the heart of the genuine article. Fabulous witty poem. Love and joy always.

I do have a little bit of a wit and it happily wags itself out of crevices before I can stop it.

This is so true. There are so many fake this, that, things and people that it is hard to figure out sometimes if you are talking to a person or not because they just don't know. Enjoyed reading your poem. I hope all is well with you and yours in this new year.

When robots start checking out all of the groceries, where will the lonely people go to say "hello" to someone? I am worried about this.
