Fake Identity

Fake Identity

Where blown the idols of falsehood
Where were the sands of lies
What unspoken expectation
Prevented truth to be shown in her eyes

Which island of doubt lay buried
What agenda kept secret
Which promise left unfulfilled and unfinished
Masked the truth of her eyes

In which moment did the edifice crumble
To reveal the construction of dishonest words
In what hour taken for granted
Did the cosmetic fade in her eyes

Where blown these idols of falsehood
Where came these arid sands of lies
Who’s unspoken expectation
Ended the love in my eyes

Colin my thought's rendered here in your magnificent words of not knowing someone's true intentions mixed in with dissapointment. I will comment on the rest of lyour works tommorrow. This is surely a deep thought creation touched with your cleverness. Thank you for your kind comments. Michael Torres
