Faith's Growth

Dead faith… was then I had being smitten in trespasses and sins. By hearing God’s Word… biblical faith was imparted to my heart granting me redemption of eternal life’s worth. From no faith, my soul God reached out… With regenerated heart, I started walk of faith That adversities ceaselessly challenge. Midst sin-caused miseries… I succumbed to skepticism bouts Testing my faith, proving its genuine functionality. Honestly, I admit that there were moments… I wallowed in guilt of faith’s absence When engulfed by unbelief-pangs. Likewise, in the crucible of trials… I was challenged along doubts and fears Thus, rebuked was I, “Oh ye of little faith” by my Saviour. Seeking my Lord, I always beg… “Increase my faith” with earnestness Believing that He can as He sees my plea. Hence, by Christ and His strength… I keep on growing in His grace and knowledge To receive His commendation, “Great is thy faith.”* *Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. The opening of this one had me almost not breathing as I could not picture "dead faith" for you, Beata. I truly could not. You are so passionate and on fire with it.
