Faithfully We Dance

.

   My intricate interlacing strokes
           mirror the swaying
               interweaving
          of her skillful dance

          She divests playfully
                  just a bit

   She woos me with importunity
            yet needs me not
             I close in tightly
            yet need her not

       How faithfully we dance

Awesome, James! The perpetual dance of coy, playful lovers comes alive in this great poem. Very nice. Thank you for sharing. Love, Carolyn
