Faith In Starting Over

Start over
This breath is new
Even for the despicable
Breathe

Start over
This cup of coffee is new
Like never before
Drink

Reborn again
This body is dry again
The wine in new skin
As Christ promised

Reborn again
Temptations made new
Baptized by Pinot Noir
Humbled

If only I would believe
I come out the womb again
And again

If only I could believe
In faith in starting over
One more time

Do I have a choice?
Faith does its work
Till eternity ends

I think some people are born more spiritual than others. I have always struggled with feeling the joy of those who are Christians. I mean, I love God, but I do not really have that kind of love that makes a person really FEEL it. I can only say I believe in God, but to KNOW that feeling. It must be so special.

I think someone said the first shall be last and the last shall be first. I think faith does not discriminate between those who bust a move on life's dance floor and the wallflowers like me. I think God thinks you are special more than the sparrows and equally with those FEELing it. Thank you for your read and comment.
