Faith In Self Strong faith in self, a priceless attribute for great success in finding jobs that pay; yet, some 'untruths' can fortify the route to opportunities that come one's way. So long ago, my father had to choose to tell a falsehood 'bout his expertise and took a long-shot gamble, win or lose, this job for him was possible to seize. At seventeen, he worked the farm. Inspired, he sought a side job building a bridge span. Said yes to know-how driving trucks, was hired; self-taught himself, and aptitude began. Just like a pro, he mastered his new task, and won the gamble saying 'yes' when asked. Sandra M.
