Faith

You are to my growth as good soil to seed
That thereby the flames of hope might never quench
But the adversary by time drags my speed
Setting me back and drowning me in a dirty drench
My sight fails as the glowing torch grows dim
Sluggish are mine movements for my my burdens I cannot bear
But as i faint your voice from the wilderness do I hear
Thou would fill with new strength,my limbs
The hope of things not seen becomes my sight
It fills my heart with abundant believes which are true
The journey from famine to plenty becomes my flight
Unto thine lines and precepts would I never be rude
Thou that art my comfort when the going gets tough
Would be my helper when the rugged path gets rough
