Faith
"Like the silence that screams, cursing solitude...
whispers of faith sing patiently with prayers" - Regina McIntosh
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was time when life was a tight rope
Full of problems and tears, every moment unjust
Struggling every second, I found it hard to cope
My Prayers were not answered, on God I lost trust
Felt God was bad, ended all faith and hope
Standing in front of him, harsh words I would thrust
For happiness I began to grope
I was no longer willing to adjust
One day I realised I was a dope
That day myself to God I did entrust
I kneeled down, asked forgiveness for my sin
Felt miserable for all my words, mistrust
Heard his voice speaking from within
I have no choice, punish for sin I must
You have no choice, endure it with grin
In me please have complete trust
I gave birth to you, I am your kin
To my children I cannot be unjust
I give miseries to end your sin
Nothing can change your plight
Until in the end salvation you win
I understood like stupid I was trying to fight
Eternal Father, God will not do wrong
Of course! My father is always right
Now I endure my miseries, humming a song
I know they will go along until I reach where I belong
