Fairytale In the Flame

Poetry always seems to go for the stars.
And while they are beautiful and filled with magic.
I want to find the fairytale in the flames.
To find a muse in the fiery depth and burn with passion.
To have my words leap out at you.
And memorise you like a wintery campfire.
For my thoughts to scold you and leave their mark.
So you don't have to look up to the sky to see me.
But feel me on your skin and burning in your soul.
Wherever you go.
To be a piece of home in your mind.
And relate to your heart with mine.
