Fairy Tales- Lost and Found
Fairy Tales – Lost and Found
Mary ran into the department of what she thought was “Lost and found”
There she saw an old lady small and sweet, but very round
Mary said “Excuse me please, can you help me out?
I’m a little deaf my dear, I’m afraid you will have to shout.
If you please, my name is Mary and I’ve lost my pretty shoe
I can’t go back home this way and I don’t know what to do.
Oh my dear, that‘s not quite right, you couldn’t have lost your shoe
For if you say your name is Mary, I will find your little lamb for you.
“ My little lamb “?, whispered Mary, what is she talking about ?
I said I’m a little deaf my dear, you really have to shout.
If you were Cinderella or Dorothy, it would‘ve been a slipper not a shoe
And you said you were Mary so you can’t even be Betty Blue.
I’m sorry you are mistaken and you seem so very nice,
I will help you find your little lamb, how i helped the three blind mice
“The three blind mice, had the lady gone really mad?
Mary looked at her pretty shoe and felt so very sad
If you finished with Mother Goose, I beg your pardon miss
Because I’ve lost the way to Snow White’s house and she’s waiting for my kiss.
Mary turned to see Prince Charming who was standing next in line
Mary now wondered instead of her shoe if perhaps she had lost her mind.
You’re really a naughty boy Prince Charming said Mother Goose
Forget Snow White and Rose red or Cinderella’s heart you’ll lose.
“Next” called Mother Goose to the annoyed princess in green
I lost my ball at the garden wall, but found a frog who talks it seems
He calls himself the frog prince but I’d rather have back my ball
For with a kiss on the lips, lo and behold the prince was bald.
Mar y now began to laugh out loud and tears rolled down her face
She looked for the lost and Found sign and found La La Land in its place!.
