Fairy Glen (Awdl Gywydd)

In the glen where fairies play
and rays of silver light dance,
my dreams of love meet the sky
and by and by bring romance.

When gentle breezes come blow
above, below forest leaves,
the tree of life she calls me
my eyes see my heart’s reprieve.

A Bard beneath birch’s bough
sings to Rowan in the dusk,
Druidic words cross river
and quiver within her musk.

Lady Rowan, hear my air,
sung with care, I love you,
hold my words upon this night
Celtic sprite, forever true.
