Fairies and Elves

I reached into my pocket
And pulled out a tiny pin
On the top there danced a fairy
And this is what she said:

I will help you in the bad times
And make sure you have good health,
I was taught so very much
In the forest with the elves.

Remember when you believed in me
When you were oh so small,
Have you forgotten your childish dreams
Did you forget them all?

I could be inside your pocket
Or maybe in a shoe,
I can take up residence
Any where you choose.

If you cannot find me
Search within your heart,
Remember all those fairy tales
When your life began it's start.

Why did you quit believing
In the fairies and the elves?
When did you stop listening
To the child within yourself........

Ps. Wearing bad glasses today. and the first time I saw the title I thought it said, Fairies and Elvis. And then when I saw you last name, I thought for a second it said Blarney, like the Blarney stone. That would have gone nicely with your fairy theme!! And if you happened to be from Ireland!!

gosh, I wish I could find a fairy that would say those words to me. I'd ask her to help me know what was wrong with me lately? (no health insurance so I am waiting for hubbie to finally get us some and then I'll see a dr!) This was sweet as could be. Andrea
