Fair Morning

Gentle stillness, soft water's edge
Moving in the morning sun
Craggy rocks, still steadfast sentinels
Sophisticated in their simple needs

New morning, early mist, birds chatter
Splashing fish romp in frenzied courtship
Amid beds of sand and gravel
Solitary seagull sits motionless alone

Folded feathers ruffled by gentle winds
Stretched shore, scattered rocks
Solitary sea lit by fair dawn's vision
Nature's breath whispering in the breeze
