Failed Life
Unaware of life ahead tough,
captured youth as a fleeting stuff.
Dreams reflected from mirror glass,
life promised a future of class,
nothing less would define enough.
Through troubled times I travelled far,
dragging life with burnt dreams’ deep scar.
Twilight gleamed the mountain unique,
I was far away from the peak,
failed life looked like a fading star.
When time for the sun to set came,
searched for the lost face in mind’s frame,
but it was smeared by harsh time’s dust.
Life’s false promises were unjust,
a deformed being I became.
