The dragon has failed She's lost her scales One by one by one Years past princes had come - aye many did But few survived her flames and so many fled One by one by one She sits in her domain now Saddened every day Blinded by her own fumes Her treasures stolen away One by one by one

Wow, this without a doubt has to be one of the best poems of all time that I've read here. A perfect message witten in a unique way that captures my attention and now it sticks in my head. Bravo! Absolutely brilliant. I want to keep praising this I love it so much, rarely does a piece enthrall me such as this. I'm going to read it to my wife right now.

Humorous Talena! I like how you split your write up via "One by one by one" really cool! Nice little tale of dragons and princes, and we don't find how she has failed until the end! Awesome poem! Great Work!
