Faerie Floss Please

The elderly nana had one last wish. I would like a bit of faerie floss she said. I thought she meant embroidery floss. Someone else thought she meant gauzy material. An old gentleman arrived carrying cotton candy on a stick. We used to call this faerie floss, he told us. She was more than happy with it.
