Fading Horizon

A dream, like a fading horizon, Where the sky and earth collide One touches hope, The other, doubt. I stand between the two, Feet planted in a fractured world, Where trust is a shadow And faith is a whisper. My ceiling is low, A blanket of fog, Yet I’m told to reach For stars that feel too far. In the silence, I hear A voice, distant yet near, Reminding me Even the darkest clouds Can part, And the sun can find its way. But for now, I’m made to learn in the dark, Grasping for the light I can’t see.
