Fading Foolishly

Weeping petals made of roses Soft like your smile Foolish am I for waiting While you haunt my heart With insincerities Smothered by silence Crumbled is my desire Thirsting for the river Glistening like silky flesh Of the only love I know Caught in its own end Hanging across a barbed fence Hurtling through corridors Dulling slowly Fade to black
