Fading Away

My heart is bruised, Words unspoken Thoughts restrained, confused Under lock and key, unopened I pry with eager eyes Running through corridors With a flashlight soon to die Vacant, bolted doors Hallways of shredded dreams Racing within secluded depths With no sense of direction Chasing opaque thoughts That which lays within a layer of dust Racing a million miles a second Of hopes veneered in rust, And suddenly, All is dark I don't know who I am Im lost within A lonely embarkment of vacancies, Forever in eternity
