Fading

Fading

you lose my secrets
one by one they skip
or stumble
broken thoughts

your fingers float
around my face
as if touch
restores remembrance

words lose you
names slide through
mazes, slip into dark
desperation

I lose you with sharp
edges of knives
that cut ties as if
they have always been loose

I write you into words
to fasten you
we need to learn
what let go means

Wow. Letting go. I am always amazed reading your poetry. It is often very sad, but (if you do not mind me saying) reveal so much strength. Many kind wishes, Kai
