Fades To Black

I'm a country boy, american made. I work my fingers to the bone and barely get paid. I've had heartache in the days gone by. While they're lost and gone. A broken hearted melody is the only song. As time rolls on and people change. It's supposed to heal all wounds. I think I missed that train. I remember the days growing up. They were around then it ended abrupt. The world keeps spinning and I'm feeling left out. It makes me think of life and what it's all about. In moments of pain. I yearn to have them back. You can call it the blues. But it always fades to black.
