Faded Red

I sit and stare at the picture on my wall And i have no feeling, nothing at all Picture of a rose, leaves and beautiful scroll And around the border white canvas roll It used to be deep red, muted and antique Richness of color called my eyes to peak It is blood from the heart true and bold No it wasn't shiney nor guilded with gold Every day red alighted from golden ray sun Appreciated by this audience, it is just one And I never realized the light's daily damage I just viewed to forget my heavy baggage But in this morning reality i cannot help to see The passion is gone and it's because of me For i burned it out by my selfish desire, I think Colors deep red they've now faded, gross pink
