Faded

The heart of a man is a strong tower
A haughty mind is their disguise
Deceived by an unknown power
All of their ways seem to be wise

A flower is alone in the dark
Searching for a long term solution
But its growth has left its mark
Haunted by a familiar conclusion

Creeping through a vacant hall
Forgotten hope sheds a tear
Many lovers miss their call
The world is loud, they can barely hear

Courage fades through prosperity
Blinded by undivulged morbidity
