fade away

Fade away

Fade
Away.
Long gone
Are the days.
Replying in my mind
Alone,
Where did they go
Our memories
My memories,
Our laughter
My laughter,
Our love
Is it still there;
Or like the wind
Came from nowhere and went nowhere
Just a simple fleeting moment of breeze passing through my hair.
Sunlight only on my skin for a moment before the moon comes out to vist us for the night
Only to be replaced.
Where did they go
Are they down there with you still
Or like smoke from a fire dissipate into the sky,
Becoming part of something larger
When I join you will our memories be united again
Or like the sun and moon always be close but never together
Fade away
Fade
Away
