Factors
Covid - 19 has painted our streets
with fiery dark colors
Families and loved ones hiding
behind close doors
Sadly, we mask our smiles through
days and nights
Government says 'Stay at home'
When our lips sleep without a taste
of food
When our stomachs sing broken
hymns and repeated verses
Even electricity is a major enemy
She comes once in a while with a
beautiful dark smile
Bluffing with her eyes, hips, titties and
rounded shape
We cry 'Mama, we are hungry'
But the outside has become a
nightmare to our faces
So, we are now starting an
open conversation with our hearts
We are quarantined
Our entire nation stuck between
sleep and awake
For the news has torn us apart
Health system is crumbling,
Our homes are lacking of oxygen
We fall on our bellies with marks of
sorrow on our foreheads
