Fact Or Fiction

Do you believe every single word I write? Is it fact or fiction when my pen is in full flight I’ve written of heartbreak - guess that’s happened to most of us About abuse, and being an alcoholic - if this really happened to me I’d cuss Written poems on farting, falling in love and so many more Of butterflies and dragonflies, even a poem about a door If my words touch you or you think that they ring true Comment on my poem and I’ll do the same back for you Jan Allison 7th August 2014

It is apparent that you have to retire as a parent when you become a grandparent or, at least, it is apparent that is what your children want to think in case you haven't noticed lately. It is early morning here and probably in the middle of the afternoon there so where should we try to find beyond compare? That is name of poem I am currently writing. Have you read Willy the Wasp yet. You initiated the creation of that one also. Sweet dreams and poetry writing. Jim Horn I used up all my space.

I loved willy the wasp poem and was flattered to see my name by it - thank you I think I was first to comment:-) I don't have grandchildren - hope I don't for a good few years yet as son is starting 2nd yr of a 3 yr degree course. it is 3.40 in the afternoon here just enjoying a nice cup of tea. If you click submit twice it will allow you more than 400 characters if you have gone over the limit - try it it works for me! Hugs as ever Jan xx

:) Awwwwwww....I believe that when you get to know a person well...you can someone feel the fact from fiction...But then again...we can never fully be known. Only those who bother to find out more about us will know the answer to these secrets.

You hit the nail on the head Eileen - if someone comments about my poem and expresses concern when it is a fictitious write I try and tell the truth ... not always - great to keep people guessing sometimes LOL I guess it is just where my pen takes me on a certain day and how i am feeling at that moment in time. I only write about things that are true, however I am also a big liar! LOL Imagination is great, and expressing all things real and fiction fantastic, I loved the one on the farting butterflies by the way!!!! LOL

I only write things that are true, Jan. I don't know how you do it. But it's a good things that those things are not real or I'd be cussing too lol

I write about anything that touches my life either directly or indirectly or I simply get inspiration from others or it is simply silly thoughts that go through my head:-) Hugs jan xx

Noooooo let it out Tim just at the appropriate time and place - not like 'Beans Boy' did at work - but if he'd held it in he would have exploded . I think I need to get away more often and give my muse another holiday - I may even write a half decent poem then :-) Hugs Jan xxx
