Four times, I have crossed swords with Death on the Battlefield of life, And As many times I was spared by this formidable Opponent. Not because of mercy on His part but rather, From certitude that His, the final victory will be. However, Bitter, I am not for my upcoming ending For During our fights, I came to know Him very well, to the Degree, of course, a mortal this slayer can know, So Now I can declare: " That a better democrat than Him It is impossible, anywhere, to find Since He equally treats everyone, regardless of the mighty King one happens to be Or Just an unimportant beggar!" © Demetrios Trifiatis 11 December 2022

So true Demetrios, rich or poor he will eventually win the battle but we'll be born again in the next life. It may be the unknown but we have nothing to fear. Hope your weekend is going well. Tom
