Facing the Future

When that time comes
I’ll be ready
ready to take on
all my responsibilities’
ready to take on
life throwing everything
that defines me
but for now just now
won’t you please
let me be me
we sit down
hoping and wondering
what will happen next
 Slowly being crushed
 by the pressure of
 reality but the truth is
we’re just ordinary people
we don’t know which way to go
-john legend-
Yet we move forward
knowing that things
can only get better
