Facets of Me
I am woman
Made of many different facets
One side is mother
Tendering and loving
Taking care of my daughters
By washing, cooking and cleaning
Homework and prayers
All while teaching the rights and wrongs
The meaning of life, to never ever give up
on their hopes and dreams
Then there's the daughter side of me
I'm a refection of what my beautiful
mother taught me
A river overflowing of memories and love
Things cherished never forgotten
She's the one single person in which
I've tried to model my life
With such strength and compassion
I'm also a friend a sister and such
I'm a wife and a lover
With feelings and lust
There's more to a woman than could ever
meet the eye
If you ever want to get to know her
You must reach deep within
Right in her heart is where she
always begins
