Face To Face

I want to look into your face so I can see the disgrace
I won’t let you see my anger, so you can hunger
I want to stare at your eyes to your demise
I will be free so let me be

You are ugly in every way and will make you pay
You carved away to disgrace my soul
It’s now my turn to put you back in the hole
Look at me if you dare, Now its my turn to scare

Look at me with this determined expression
You tried to terrify me when I was young
Now I am more powerful than your tongue
You never let up, at little, weak small me
You got away with it I can see

I am looking at you to see your reaction
Don’t look away I want my satisfaction
I won’t let you get to me ever again
Get out off my life this is the end.

You certainly write from the heart. Well said. Well done.

I have been through confrontations in which I demanded truth and apologies , but did not call names. One person actually did end up apologizing. I may put in a poem for you to read, that you may identify with.
