Face Masks

I do not understand the fuss
Over wearing a simple mask,
Such a reasonable thing to ask
A safety benefit for all of us.

It will never seem natural, but it does seem responsible and kind.

True, but if I can prevent one case, it will be worth it. My sister-in-law lost her best friend yesterday. After eight weeks or more on the vent, they had to pull the plugs. It's so sad.

I cannot be separated from my mask, it's part of my routine now particularly as we are coming into the flu season..We need to be reminded of all the benefits to covering up...Delice

Good thinking, Delice. I think I'll be wearing my mask in public for a long, long time. It's not hurting me, and it may be helping someone else.

Thank you for this :) I personally think they should always be required in a doctor's office. I mean, if you KNOW you're sick, why wouldn't you do your part in keeping those around you healthy?

That's a very good point, Avery. I'm glad you agreed with my plea to wear masks for everyone's safety.

I agree, Milt… but you should’ve seen the looks I got when I went shopping in Annie’s cucumber face mask!

Couldn't agree more Milton and with winter coming and people coughing and sneezing more not wearing a mask is a recipe for disaster. Its still raging over here with new infections every day. Tom

Thank you, Tom. I just wrote this little ditty and then realized it needed wider readership, so....of course, some folks never get it!
