Facade
She tries and tries to act tough.
She tries and tries to act like she does not care.
However, what some do not see
Is the passion building up inside of her unexplored territory.
Yearning to be discovered and seized.
This girl’s heart wants to feel immense and great things,
So she knows that these feelings linger inside of her.
Deep down what this soul desires,
Is for someone to break the hard exterior that surrounds her.
A person strong and persistent enough to conquer all of her fears.
The roughness of her surface is a disguise she chooses to wear.
She internally wonders what qualities she possesses that make her unique enough to interest
someone.
She acts like she needs no one,
But she strongly longs for that special and unique individual to come and take her away
From all of her doubts and angst.
That lovely being who will love her for who she is and aspires to be.
This mystifying facade this girl chooses to wear is beyond what we will ever know.
Except for that amazing mystery of a man who will find his soulmate hidden under this
terrain.
Sad to say, will we ever know?
Sad to say, will I ever know?
This mysterious facade surrounding this girl we cannot explain.
Contrarily, this scared and bewildering young lady,
Is me.
